There is a lovely seating area near reception, to sit and look out over the square."

"I spent 6 nights here in early April for a solo trip to Iceland. This was a great location for walking all over Reykjavik. Plenty of shops and places to eat all along Laugavegur. The Jorgensen kitchen and bar was wonderful. I enjoyed my lamb dinner there better than at Dill (a Michelin star restaurant down the street). Breakfast had a lot of options. All of the spaces were clean, quiet and had plenty of amenities. I didn't make time to enjoy the spa, but I will next time. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"We picked here because who doesn’t like a nice themed hotel. Breakfast buffet was good, restaurant was good, beds were comfortable, and staff was nice. "
"This property is in excellent condition and very clean. The beds are comfortable yet a bit smaller than in US hotels but larger than in some other European countries. Service was excellent and we could check in 3 hours early. It is also close to the main street of the city and all the restaurants. "

"Lovely inn in a vital harbor location. Numerous restaurants within a short walk! The only downside was that there is no parking--but the nearby parking lot was not unconvenient. The breakfast was fantastic! "
