"My wife and I stayed one night on our way from uk to Switzerland on a motorbike trip .Chantelle was there on our arrival and couldn’t be more helpful, the property and our accommodation was immaculate, after a great sleep the breakfast was amazing with all locally sourced hams, cheeses,yogurt and breads.Chantelle and her husband were so friendly and welcoming.Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again."

"I do not understand why some people have given this hotel such negative reviews in the past. We loved it. It was a typical quirky French country hotel, very convenient to find from the motorway, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The rooms were basic but clean and everything worked. "A very pleasant B&B in Champagne region of France. The property was clean and the host welcoming. Very quiet village, with no restaurant or bars, and we weren't aware the host would cook meals on request. Our only complaints were not being able to eat in our room and new towels are required! Otherwise very pleasant stay."

"The hotel is in a good location and the bedroom was large. The pool was clean but very cold but probably just the time of year. The sheets on the beds were dirty when we arrived with hair underneath the pillows. They were changed after we requested it at the recpetion. The pillows were solid blocks and the mattress was incredibly firm. The decorative pillows were covered in stains and the spare pillows in the wardrobe had no pillow case and were covered in stains. There was a nasty mould smell...

"The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "
