Just like home
Howard and Lauri were such gracious owners, they made us feel so comfortable during our stay, we even had a wonderful treat for our Saturday breakfast of delicious homemade scones, Thanks Lauri. We look forward to staying again in October

Awesome Casita
Lauri and Howard's Safari Sunset Casita is simply awesome! Well-decorated. Great views. Very quiet. Fantastic evening breezes. Lots of fruit trees on the property to sample. Took an evening walk in Hialeah Estates -- the views are amazing. This was our first VRBO ever, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. And Kelly was a pleasure and fun to talk with.

Great Escape
Great location, quiet, stunning views of mountains and rolling hills. The Casita had everything needed, stable and fast wifi and privacy! Thanks, as well, to Kelly for answering my . very few questions.

Unbelievable
Laurie and Howard have created a beautiful place to relax and renew your soul. Absolutely everything was perfect. I can’t wait to come back — it broke my heart to leave. Kelly graciously provided everything we could possibly want or need. Thank you for these amazing casita!

Amazing
This place was unreal!!!! We could not believe the plants and vegitation and beauty here!!! Enywbwre u look is amazing! The views were gorgeous with amazing sunsets! The place was so private quiet and perfect for a romantic get away with my love !!! The owners were so kind and offered fresh home made scones one morning . We had an amazing time here !!!!!

Words can't express how much I enjoyed my short but sweet stay at Lauri's. I didn't want to miss my daughter's camp outing at a nearby ranch, but being heavily pregnant, I needed a more comfortable lodging option over cabin bunk beds. I searched local hotels for a few hours and the choices were grim. Then thought better and checked out vrbo, and up popped this amazing place that, by far, exceeded my needs & expectations. It's beautifully appointed, peaceful, and immaculate. 5-star all the way. But what made the stay extra special was how available, helpful and welcoming Lauri is. The charming casita radiates her warmth. You will leave feeling centered by the beauty and energy of Safari Sunset.

AMAZING PLACE!
This has to be one of the best places we've ever stayed while traveling. It was beautiful, and the hosts are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again when visiting family in Southern California!

Beautiful Casita with wonderful sunsets
Very relaxing place to stay. Went about with our days activities and business and just like coming home. Very peaceful nights. This is our second visit and would return again. Lauri and Howard put in a lot of time to make you comfortable.

Amazing sunset view! Cozy fireplace and great honeymoon spot!
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon weekend after our wedding and could not have asked for better hosts! Howard and Lori went above and beyond to make our stay special and romantic! I will definitely recommend this to other friends! Can’t wait to stay here again and also to check out their other airbnb locations!!

Great Views!
The views were fantastic and the casita was even nicer and more private than advertised. Excellent communication with Lauri (the owner) made our arrival, stay, and departure easy and seamless. The property was clean and new with outstanding landscaping. We almost felt like we were in Hawaii surrounded by so may exotic looking plants! We will be back!

Beautiful and peaceful retreat!
My husband and I just spent 3 relaxing days here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a great place to stay! We loved the beautiful sunsets, the peaceful environment, wonderful landscaping, and watching and listening to the many birds. The casita itself is very well-appointed with everything you could need. We loved the layout and decor. We made dinner there each night and used both the oven and the outdoor grill. Lauri provides organically grown herbs which I enjoyed using to create a nice herbal blend tea. The photos on the website provide a great representation of the casita, but it was even better in person. I highly recommend staying here. You will love it! Thank you, Lauri and Howard, for your hospitality!

I can not remember when I was this relaxed. I wanted to take this casita home with me. Howard and Lauri we're great host. Howard greeted us and Lauri brought goodies. Absolutely Wonderful
Safari Sunset is a wonderful casita and place to relax and get away. Beautiful views, tranquil and peaceful, super clean, impeccably furnished ... and very private. Plus the hosts are delightful, helpful and unintrusive. Highly recommended.

Incredibly peaceful and beautiful casita!
I grew up in Oceanside and my boyfriend and I came to to town to attend a friend's wedding in the Temecula wine country last weekend. Safari Sunset's location in the middle of both locations was absolutely perfect. As for the place itself - incredible. It was such a delightful surprise to feel like I was truly on vacation in a place I spent most of my life. From the gorgeous views, to the beautiful color palette, to the warm hospitality, it's hard to pick a single thing we loved the most. We were greeted with freshly baked goods and a note and when we met Lauri the next day she gave us a tour of the garden and invited us to pick whatever we'd like to make a salad. When we got back to the casita after a long day away she'd left a bowl of citrus and avocados in front of our door. If you're looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area that is thoughtfully luxurious but kind to the earth, look no further. We can't wait to return! Thank you Lauri and Howard for a WONDERFUL experience.

A perfect getaway!
