"The hotel was amazing. Very nice and welcoming reception. Loved the old building (30 years). Perfect having a restaurant/bar just across the way. Delicious food and the chef was very nice and he came out to check if we wanted everything we ordered, as he was concerned we might have ordered too much Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful and good. "

The furniture is quite old, the kitchen could be better equipped and only one big pillow for two persons is also not so nice. But all in all it’s okay for a few nights to explore Santander. "

"Hotel was functional and clean. Very little parking in the neighbourhood so it took a long time and long walk to find a place and reach the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast barely adequate. However the shower drain was blocked and flooring sloping out of the bathroom so the room got flooded soaking our belongings. It was an obvious structural problem but noone was on site to resolve the problem. "

"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "

"Great staff and a good location that allowed us to visit several attractions in only one day. We were not aware that there was no elevator wichi may be an issue for some families. We had to park some blocks away because everything was taken close to the hotel. I would come back."
