Beautiful hotel. Room was in need of some repair but overall fine.

Definitely this hotel is not a 5-star hotel. We stayed at this hotel in the second week of October 2019. Air conditioning is inexistent in spring and autumn. The hotel was unable to provide air conditioning during my stay. Their explanation was that the hotel has a main system that is controlled by them ( no access to the control from your room, all you can do is putting the room hotter or cooler based on what their setting is). They switch between the heater and air condition based on the season, during summer months they turn the A/C on and when summer is over they turn the heater on...what about the in-between seasons?? We were unable to sleep well because it was hot ( no choice to change to another room because the situation applied to the entire hotel). Service at the cafeteria was horrendous, rude and slow service, multiple unavailable drinks, and food from the menu. Old hotel that lives from his name...we will not stay there again.

Good hotel with terrible breakfast pricing.
Older hotel but needs renovation of beds and fittings to stay up to date with the needs of a traveller. Also the pricing of the breakfast at the hotel is outlandish. For a regular fare one which includes nothing special one pays 45€. I think that possibly for me was a deal breaker. For this I would take away 2 of 5 stars.
