"It felt like a true south sea island escape. Our room (bula) was massive with the moat comfortable bed. The bathroom was immaculate with a great shower. We had a porch with comfy loungers and a hammock with a priceless view. The staff were so kind and helpful. We unplugged from the world and slept 8 - 9 hours a night. I snorkled every day and that was worth the price of admission! I read 2 books in 4 days and I can't remember the last time I did that. It was paradise."

"It was a nice stay here but not necessarily “walk out of your room and into the water” especially at low tide. Not their fault of course so still 5 stars. As with my other stay, the staff was incredibly friendly and the warrior dance night was so fun. Beautiful sunsets and the food was pretty good. No gym here also. "

"I had read many reviews of various hotels on Denarau island and ultimately chose Sheraton golf and beach resort and were so glad we did! I totally understand what previous reviewers have said about the staff, facilities, gardens, food - everything is superior! We last visited this resort in 1998 as a family of 5 and returned recently as a couple, a lot has changed it's simply the best!"

"Deluxe beach front room was a 10/10, Staff was amazing. The only downfall for me and the group I was with is the breakfast buffet options we wish there was more. But other than that adults pool was perfect with the bar and service."

"The room was pretty basic and clean, but the property felt old and tired. While I didn't see any bugs, it kind of had the feeling of a roach hotel, so I slept with the lights on. I paid for in-room Wi-Fi, but it didn't work 95% of the time. Service in the dining room was very, very slow. On the bright side, it was very convenient to the airport, within walking distance, but with a free shuttle that drops off / picks up at the terminal. I woke up at 3am and found that the running water had been shut off, but it was back on by 4am, in time for a nice hot shower."

"A handy location right next to the Nadi International Airport- 3 mins across the road by complimentary hotel shuttle bus. Loved the well equipped gym - and their very impressive masseur, Priya at the Tokatoka Spa - she gave me one of the best back and shoulders massage I’ve ever had which I didn’t expect at all - and was very professional and super polite ! What an asset ! On the food front,don’t plan to eat at the restaurant if you have some level of expectation - I’m not a fussy eater but found myself reacting to the new menu which, unlike previous ones , is limited with very few uninspiring entrees & mains. I’ve used this hotel for years and the food standards have dropped quite noticeably. You could try next door at the Gateway or head towards town for other restaurants. Top marks to Tokatoka for the staff hospitality - from their porters and reception to the restaurant, bar and ground/ maintenance, their welcoming attitude, initiative and helpfulness made the stay worth it."
