You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

This big old charming house Viroqua

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. VERY short walk to anytime fitness, the movie theater, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Subway. Short drive to Viroqua's thriving downtown and wonderful local restaurants. This is a beautiful, old farm house and the only residential house in the area. Washer and dryer, all cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry soap, etc) are here, fully stocked kitchen (with basics like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc), massage chair (needed after a hard day of anything). Large 3 season room and deck.
The space
Variety of beds (plush, firm, memory foam) and pillows (bamboo, fluffy, flatter, memory foam) so everyone should be able to find something they like.
Guest access
Check in is with a keypad located on the front door. It will be programmed with the last 4 digits of the phone number you give us. There is a patio door that is locked until you open it from the inside.
Guests are welcome to explore the whole house, except the basement is just our storage.
Other things to note
Pets are welcome but please keep them on the main floor as the upstairs has new carpeting. There is a small fenced in area off the deck but it will not hold strong dogs or dogs that can jump over 4 feet (they are welcome but don't trust the fence with them).
Almost everything in the house was purchased brand new recently. Please treat things kindly so others can enjoy them as well. Thank You so much

Big, Beautiful House!

After a day on the road,it was so nice to get to this big, beautiful house! My kids enjoyed exploring all of the rooms and seeing what the owners brought back from their travels. Beds were comfortable and checking in/out was easy. If we were in the area, I would stay here again!

We were in town for a wedding and the house was perfect. The house was fully stocked from snacks and coffee to little things that you never thing you will need but do. The house was very clean and we enjoyed reading about the hosts' travels and descriptions of items throughout the house. This house was perfect for hosting our family and we would highly recommend it.

Trout fishing and mushroom hunting vacation

Home is unique and beautiful, spacious, comfy, and well stocked. The trade off for being right in town was worth it. We were still close to many fishing areas and hiking trails to keep us busy during the day, and coming back to such an inviting home was a pleasure.

Room to stretch out

My family was in town for a wedding. The house was a perfect fit for us , with plenty of space. The original beauty of the house makes you think you’re in the country. Very convenient location with great amenities.

Viroqua spring 2025

The house was clean and decorated with interesting art and geodes. I liked the labeling on all light switches and kitchen cabinets which saved a lot of searching. Nice deck area. The jukebox was a hit. Really nice accommodation.

Beautiful home. We couldn't believe how fully stocked this home was with all the amenities from appliances to staples that we have ever seen. We've stayed in a lot of different homes. Highly recommend.

Great stay for family reunion

Wonderful family friendly property with tons of space. Never had a home stay so well stocked. There was even an infant bathtub and stroller in the closet! Back deck wasn’t private but still nice to sit on. Convenient location, but spent our days elsewhere. Would definitely stay again!

Welcoming

We headed to this area for a pilgrimage to the Shrine in LaCrosse. While the house may not be in the most picturesque location, it did not take anything away from such a great experience staying there. The house is big, clean, charming and full of character. The host did not hold back on the kitchenware, appliances, or furnishings. It has everything one needs. We had a great time, felt at home, and recommend this house to anyone staying in the area.

A shopping center oasis

Everything you could possibly need is there for you. We spent a lot of time around the giant dining room table. Especially enjoyed the candy and snacks. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the bottle of wine, but what a nice welcome. One person in our party owns a home cleaning business and she just marveled at the cleanliness of the whole place, right down to the sink drains! Check in and communication was very simple. so thank you Staci for and enoyable stay. We might be back.

Perfect - this house was exactly what we needed. Ample space for family, beautiful wood work in parts of the house, and you let our dogs stay! WiFi worked well, even left us some snacks. It was just completely perfect. Thank you so so much! Will return in a heartbeat!

OMG - STAY HERE!

Hands down best verbo. It is exactly what it says. It is a farmhouse, everything has a label. Every light switch, tells you what it's for. The house is completely furnished with everything you need. Patio is beautiful! The location is perfect just when you think you're in the middle of a parking lot, head down to the fire pit and you are very secluded.

Family get together

Travel to the region every fall for family get together. 7 adults and one child from 2 states. The place was amazing. Very clean, lovely old home. Many times at VRBO the cookware and plates are older and the grill is not the best. This had all newer cookware and compete matching dinnerware. Grill was almost new, new fire pit. Hostess was wonderful to work with and excellent t communication without hovering over us. One of the best we’ve ever stayed at.

Best VRBO property to date!

The property has an interesting location, but once you get inside, you’re in awe! Not only is it a beautiful home, but it’s the cleanest maintained property I’ve ever stayed at. The owners have every conceivable item provided for you inside the property. There are snacks put out in a very welcoming way, only to discover farm fresh eggs, beverages, and other food items all provided for our comfort and convenience. There are even toiletries set up in the bathroom closet, just in case you forgot some thing. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, and the bed was so comfortable! And the bedroom also had an electric fireplace that we of course just had to put on for ambience. It truly was a remarkable stay. I only booked for one night because of my daughter’s college graduation, but I would’ve loved to have stayed longer!

Perfect meeting place

This place was perfect for our extended family to gather to meet our newest baby born 3 weeks ago! The large bedroom on the main floor was perfect for the new baby's family - the child's bed and extra crib were very helpful. The upstairs bedrooms were cozy and the beds/bedding very comfortable. Our oldest grandaughter chose to have her own little space in the large closet (away from brothers!). There was so much room for all 12 of us: a large dining table, plenty of seating in the living room, and a well equipped kitchen. The Christmas decor made it even more special, and the basket of treats was the icing on the cake!! The 3 season porch looked wonderful, if only it were a little warmer. All in all, this was a wonderful place for our family from 3 states to meet together to celebrate Christmas and a new grandbaby! We'd definitely come back again!
