"This castle has seen better days❤️‍🩹 very small room, TV was out of order. Lamps in bathroom was barely hanging in there. Worst was the lack of service. We do not blame the staff, but the management who did not train the highschool girls that were to serve us. The breakfast was a laugh. All this does not sum up to a 4 star hotel."

"Location in park like setting very desirable- still very close to center of town. Nearly adjacent to Aqua and Jorn Museum. Grounds just lovely, tranquil. Rooms attractive though small. Hotel restaurant food only sampled at breakfast, but was good. Lovely terrace for breakfast in good weather. "

"Excellent hotel located at the riverfront in central Silkeborg. The room was ready upon arrival at 12:30 even that check-in time was 14:00. Great reception service. Fantastic room (junior suite) with river view. Bedroom, living, room, bathroom and separate toilet. Delicious breakfast. No power outlets at the bedside, so bring your own cables to connect phone chargers."
