Silkeborg is a jewel, beautiful for walking and makes a lovely destination. A business hotel mainly, paint peeling and damaged ceiling in the bedroom. No extras such as complimentary water on arrival or in reception, no bathroom extras. No lounge area other than reception. No satilite TV. More could be provided for tourists. A good swimming pool.

Nice hotel that we stayed on for the 4th time. But the room at the bottom floor was very varm and damp. Hardly any ventilation. The towels did not dry for a whole day. As almost every hotel room there is water all over the bathroom after you shower. Nice pool.

3 very nice days in Silkeborg

Extremely specious suite with amble room for the family on our three days stay. Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings next to the picturesque Silkeborg Lake. Very nice breakfast served every morning. EV charging at a fair price. Pool not so large but clean and refreshing. Only thing not so great: We couldnt resrrve a table in the restaurant for our first evening. I guess the restaurant was understaffed due to vacation. Would stay at Scandic Silkeborg again

Hvis du vil fryse så er det her stedet !!

Tja, det kan nok ikke skrives pænt uanset hvordan ordene bliver vendt og drejet. At skulle hoste op med 2350 kr for 2 overnatninger er vel prisen for et godt hotel med styr på sin teknik og sine evner til at rette op på fejl eller alternativt at flytte en gæst når nu værelset er fejlbehæftet - det sker så bare slet ikke ved Scandia Silkeborg - desværre. Lækker værelse, rette størrelse, ok bad, ny renoveret gode senge og så er der 0, skriver nul varme muligt. Gulvet i værelset var koldt, i badeværelset med klinker på var det iskoldt som i ISKOLDT !! Kom sent ind så tænkte det får de at vide i morgen tidlig og så fikser de varmen på værelset. Kom hjem dag 2 og spurgte i receptionen og det var fikset og fik svaret ja naturligvis og hvis det fortsat var lidt koldt kunne jeg hente en varmeblæser i receptionen…. Det betaler jeg ALDRIG IGEN 2350 kroner.. Værelset var IKKE fikset, tværtom var det blevet lidt koldere udenfor og indenfor, så det blev en nat nu med 2 dyner på, tshirt og sokker måtte ligeså på bare for at holde varmen. Håndklæder lagt ud på gangarealerne for ikke at fryse om fødderne… det kan da ikke være standarden for et Scandia Hotel… Ved udcheckning gjorde jeg igen opmærksom på min klage og fik blot svaret, at det var da beklageligt det ikke var blevet lavet - at betale 2350 . Never ever igen

En lille klage over morgenmaden: rørægget virkede rå og ufærdigt, og baconstumpene til var ikke lækkert. Ros: vi bestilte mad som roomservice, hvilket blev gjordt færdigt senere end lovet. Vi fik kompensation i form af gratis drinks og halvdelen af måltidet var på hotellets regning.
