"This is a very excellent place to stay if you are looking for a first class hotel in a destination resort located in a lovely small town. We had a very large corner room with a mountain view. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have had anywhere in the world. Incredible!"

"The staff was truly so warm, friendly and helpful. Our goal for our stay was to relax and fully unplug, and we did so. We enjoyed days of quiet relaxation with spectacular views of the mountains and valley that started with a wonderful breakfast. The evening meals in the restaurant were delicious. The restaurant staff both in the morning and the evening were an absolute delight. Our biggest challenge was probably most due to our inability to understand German. There were details that we didn't find out or understand until later in our planning of our trip. Life was simplified once we came to find out that they would gladly meet us at the Mittersill train station, and that they would have even picked us up at the Zell am See train station for a charge. We wished that we would have found those details earlier in our trip planning days."

"We stayed at hotel Rose in May between ski season and busy summer season. Our room looked out over the river with balcony and Mountain View. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. My only concern is the number of flies in the bar and restaurant area. We had a pre dinner cocktail. Between my partner, and I we killed six flies. I believe it is unhygienic to have flies in an area where food is served. The hotel should address this issue."

"Lovely authentic Tyrolean hotel . Rooms are large and newly renovated. Breakfast is a decent continental selection. A 3 course set dinner menu is available each night though we didn’t try it. The village is beautiful. We didn’t have a car but the bus and train network to neighbouring villages was pretty good and straightforward plus you get a free transport pass with the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the train station is less than 10 minutes walk. All the shops are very close including a new laundrette . Everyone in town speaks Italian and German and most speak enough English . I would definitely stay in this town and at this hotel again. "

"Two sisters run this hotel and they are wonderfully kind and involved in making any stay here exceptional. The service is second to none. The breakfast is spectacular, with locally sourced farm to table products. They have a huge assortment of great tea and desserts available to guests. We didn’t hit the spa, as we stayed here during our time hiking in the Dolomites. It was a bit further out from some of the hotels nearer the hikes but it is absolutely worth it to be in such a beautiful place with such incredible hospitality. "
