"The room was very clean when we first came to our room and every morning the house keepers would come in and clean up the room. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. Some people who come to my head are Juan David and Miguel the waiters outside,Axel from the front of the hotel greeting us and helping us get transportation and Margarita with her friendly personality greeting us to go into breakfast."

"Spa was great. Had a really good massage. Loved going to the pool, Alberto was the best waiter!!!, the room was a bit loud unfortunately. Wasn’t really able to sleep in due to the noise. But the resort itself is gorgeous as well as the amenities such as the pool. Really close to the town and the art walk was amazing!!! Ubers are easily accessible. "

"We had a great time at the Decameron! The staff were the best aspect of the trip. All very kind, with fast and friendly service! Rooms and pools were clean, food and drinks were readily avaliable all day and night in one or more areas. The food was very good, but nothing was particularly amazing. But we were very happy with everything, especially considering the price! Also, we read a few negative reviews on Decameron before booking about language barriers with the staff. This was not our experience at all. I speak a little Spanish and my wife speaks very little (just a few words and phrases), but we found the staff very patient and helpful when we wanted to learn and practice. Also, they all spoke English to some degree and many of the staff spoke 4 or 5 different languages. Anyone who didn't appreciate the staff at this resort was at the wrong resort! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing time!"
