Lovely hotel. Grounds are well kept. Breakfast is amazing. Pool and pool area is always clean. Beach hotel is lovely. Not a lot to do for the kids, but I think that’s general for Sardinia. Overall, lovely staff, clean, organised, good food. Location is great as long as you have a car. Close to beaches and close to town square. Honestly can’t fault this hotel. Will go again.

We had a great time at this place. Some pros and cons to share with future travellers: Pros: - Property and buildings are beautiful, very clean. - Staff are friendly. Cons: - Drinks and food are VERY expensive. We got some things from the local town for our room in terms of groceries and drinks. - DO NOT do laundry here. I got a small bag done and although they were very fast and efficiency, they charged me over 80 euros afterwards without being open about this prior to me dropping the small bag off. - Hot water in the room runs out fast if you’re having more than two showers I. Your travel party - The volleyball was not set up, which was one of the things we were most excited for. Overall, we would most likely come back, but would do some research and better planning first as we learned the hard way on some things.

Very disappointing experience. Food was average and expensive. The hotel did not even provide a bottle of complementary water upon arrival to welcome the guest . Overall the hotel is overcharging what it is offering. I would have expected more considering the caliber of the hotel.

Outstanding location

We are a family of four and overall had a very nice stay in one of the apartments. The standard of the apartment was probably closer to three than four stars, but clean, new bathroom and well-functioning air con. Consider bringing a few things like a good and sharp knife, tea towels etc. if you’d like to use the kitchenette. The location of the resort right on an amazing beach is truly five stars and the garden and pool area very nice and well-kept! We booked transport from Cagliari airport, but the driver had just left as our flight was 30 minutes delayed. Communication with the hotel was not very helpful, no apology was made, and we ended up taking a taxi to the hotel instead. There’s an hourly bus from the street outside the resort to Villasimius, remember face masks. The front desk has a nice map of Villasimius and can show you the bus stops for return (we missed it the first time we went there, and taxis are hard to find and very expensive). All entertainment and kids activities are in Italian.

Das Zimmer (Apartment) ist zweckmäßig aber sehr einfach und billig ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer und die Dusche ist gut. Die Pools sind zu klein für die Größe der Anlage. Der hoteleigene Strand dürfte etwas gepflegter sein. Die Strände in der Umgebung sind dafür toll. Für das Frühstück werden astronomische 25 Euro / Erwachsener aufgerufen - unverschämt. Das Abendmenü schlägt mit 45 Euro / Erwachsener und 40 Euro / Kind zu buche (ohne Getränke). Wir haben beides nicht in Anspruch genommen. Es gibt sehr/gute Alternativen außerhalb der Anlage. Insgesamt passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Wir werden nicht erneut buchen.

Rip-off / Überteuert

Die Lage des Cormoran ist das einzig schöne. Der Strand wäre traumhaft, jedoch wird man von lauter Musik beschallt von allen Seiten. Die Strandbar, der Pool und auch am Volleyball Feld werden zeitweise gleichzeitig mit unterschiedlicher Musik bespielt. An etwas Ruhe ist nicht zu denken. Die Sonnenschirme werden für den ganzen Aufenthalt vergeben und wir wurden direkt neben der Strandbar plaziert und verstanden kaum das eigene Gespräch. Nach mehrmaligem reklamieren wurden wir an einen ruhigeren Ort umplaziert. für 4 Personen steht 1 Sonnenschirm, 2 Liegestühle und 2 kleine Strandstühle zur verfügung! Eine Frechheit! Das Zimmer ist billig möbliert wie eine 3 Sterne Ferienwohnung, die bereits schwer in die Jahre gekommen ist. Der Balkon ist etwa 60cm breit. Es hat weder Zahnglas noch Seifenschale. Die Küche ist mit zerkratzten, billigen Teflonpfannen ausgestattet. 3 Töpfe und ein Deckel der zu keinem Topf passt. Für ein Geschirrtuch mussten wir erst dem Reinigungspersonal nachlaufen. Ich habe Hausstaub-Milben Allergie und huste hier die ganze Nacht. Das Vanity-Kit ist ein Witz! Zimmerrreinigung kostet 35 Euro extra pro Tag! Und das bei über 450 Euro kosten ohne Mahlzeiten pro Nacht. Eine Unverschämtheit. Dafür dass wir bei Ankunft noch Abfall zwischen Kühlschrank und Wand fanden sowie Sand im Bett, was mir genug sagt über den Reinigungsservice. Das Wifi ist im Zimmer wirklich sehr schlecht. Beim Check in wurde uns ein Plan von der Anlage in die Hand gedrückt und fertig.

Wonderful hotel and staff

Very nice resort situated right on a beautiful white sand beach. There are a few things that could use some upgrading and improvement but nevertheless we had a wonderful 2-week stay at the family apartment with two young children. The apartment furnishings are very basic. The bottom floor apartment was perfect for us as our kids could run around in the front and back patios. The bathroom unfortunately smelled pretty bad like sewer but we closed all the drains and that helped. The kitchen is not well equipped (only one knife provided - a bread knife, no toaster, no microwave, no kid's utensil/plates/cups). Bring your own dish detergent and sponge. The counter space is tiny. This could be intentional to encourage guests to eat at their cafe and restaurant. Eating at their restaurant was not ideal for us as our young kids as they open for dinner at 7pm. We did eat at the beach restaurant once and enjoyed it. The food could be tastier, however, the service, the atmosphere and entertainment were TOP notch. I love the singer... he could literally sing any and all my favorite songs. I am utterly impressed by his talent, his voice as he could sing pop, rock, jazz, soul, swing, etc. Every night after our kids went to bed, I relaxed with a glass of wine on our patio and listened to him sing. The entertainment team holds free yoga, water exercise, entertainment for kids. We had a great time here and end of September was the best time to go as we had escaped the crowd & weather was good

Stunning beach, lovely apartments

We stayed in a ground floor apartment for 10 days. Clean, practical, bright and a stone's throw from the pool and beach. The stunning beach has lovely wooden sunshades and is great for kids. The kids' pool was unfortunately a bit boring and cool with only ladder entry and limited shade. Don't book this place for the kids' club, especially for young children, the facilities and enthusiasm are rather lacking. Luckily there were plenty of other small children in the surrounding apartments who all amused each other and could play safely alone in the shared garden area. Despite this website advertising laundry facilities, these are only in the villas. The best the reception could offer to rectify this was a discount laundry service of €2/item... for two weeks' worth of washing for a family of four?!? We drove into town instead. Otherwise everyone was helpful and friendly. Beach restaurant perhaps a bit overpriced (more expensive than the 5* hotel down the road where we stayed next!)

The resort itself - pool, beach, garden etc. is really well cared for and extremely nice. The entertainment team does a good job of organizing activities and my kids really enjoyed the afternoon games. We stayed in the residence and the apartment was rather basic, old and not particularly clean (with the exception of the bathroom which was renovated). We had a really nice time, but I am not sure we would come back unless the rooms are renovated.

The place is in a remote area and their food prices are super expensive. If you are vegan , you are going to have to find somewhere else to eat. Menu is very limited and they offer a buffet for 40€ per person which by judging the limited amount of items in their menus 40 euros is too expensive. The adult pool is deep only for experience swimmers. Overall if you are Over 50 looking for a quiet place, remote and away from everything this is the place for you.
