"This is a small logis in an attractive village. Ideally situated with easy parking. Very friendly and helpful reception. Room was fine and as expected. Very quiet. Helped with booking restaurant. Pretty village with impressive castle. Very pleased with this choice"
"Wonderful stay at a quaint restored winery chateau. Amazing hosts and comfortable. Got to watch a beautiful sunset with amazing views into the valley. "
"A beautiful old building in the heart of a beautiful old village but with all the modern conveniences. Great local restaurants. We will be going again. "
"Wonderful little hotel ! Fabulous rooms with great facilities , great decor and great staff. Located in a lovely village.
Amazing value !
We will definitely stay again.
Superb "
"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet.

"A Truly Unforgettable Hidden Gem in Bordeaux.
10 stars out of 5.
First and most important – the place was renovated few years ago. EVERYTHING is brand new. Rooms are specious, bathrooms are huge, and have everything you need. Rooms have AC.
Property has pool, pool house, gym, tennis court, BBQ place AND gardens, endless gardens, with fruit trees, thousand-year-old olive trees, pines, oaks and etc.
You can walk gardens, enjoy weather, sunrise or sunset, it is so relaxing. It is absolutely OK to walk vineyard and enjoy growth of grapes which will soon become a most delicious wine.
Notes to the travelers:
- Rental car is a MUST. This is remote area, and you will need a car. Once you have a car, you can drive to Bordeaux, 30 min, Saint Emilion – 30 min, Arcachon – 1 hour (to see largest dune in Europe) and other places, and then return to paradise. Driving is super easy in that region.
- French, English, Russian, Chinese are spoken on the property – which makes it super convenient.

Logis Hôtels- Hôtel et Restaurant Domaine de Fompeyre
10/10 Excellent
"We totally enjoyed almost everything about this property. The location, the ease to find and all the amenities. The staff super nice, the pool and steam a great treat after a long day. The restaurant for breakfast is very good, lots of selection. The dinner on the other hand was lack luster with options that that were limited. Nothing for a non meat eater and the service was confusing. overall I highly recommend and its great value. "
