"The staff was helpful, but the hotel itself felt cold and dark. The décor was strange, with unsettling items like a samurai headdress. I’m not interested in Japanese themes, and had I known how obsessed the owners were with Japan, I would not have booked this place. I would not return. "

"Première expérience en chambre d'hôte, et belle découverte ! Hôte extrêmement gentille. Chambre parfaite, lit hyper confortable, mieux installé qu'à l'hôtel. Petits produits dans la salle de bain, ça fait plaisir. Décoration jolie, petit déjeuner au coin du feu, buffet varié de qualité. Je reviendrais ! Merci"

"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...
