"Amazing stay for a one night stop, chose renovated room and it was lovely, clean, comfortable. Parking easy and kiosk/ cafe and restaurant on site if needed. Staff exceptional, wonderful young lady at reception."

"Was next to cathedral and old town. The room was very large (three seperate areas). Parking was in the hotel and the breakfast was very good. The hotel needs some upgrading particularly the bathroom. This looks to be a hotel that was exceptional but is in need of an upgrade. The A/C and the TV did not work which was annoying but not a huge issue. With a little bit of attention this could be (or return to) a 4 or 5 star hotel."

"On booking I outlined that the trip was to celebrate our anniversary. I booked a non smoking club room on a higher floor What we got was a disability room that smelt of odour or smoke with curtains hanging of their hooks, a seat that had multiple cigarette burns And some stains on the toilet seat. We pointed this out at reception and they sent up cleaning staff who sprayed the curtains and room with air freshner and left. We left to go sightseeing for a couple of hours and then returned to a still quite smelly room. I agai went to reception and complained to a women with purple hair who spoke to me in a very uninterested ambient manner saying you booked a basic room what else do you expect I replied saying that my booking was for a club room and my expectation was for clean one free of tissue I mentioned. She then said I got a high room and there was nothing she could do."

"The reception staff were indifferent. The room didn’t have the size of bed I requested. Reception didn’t pick up the phone when I called. When I was moved to another room (eventually), it too had the wrong type of bed."
