"Where to start? First let me say that Ambar are condos, not a resort so each unit is individually owned & most are managed by different property managers. Our unit was managed by GPS Hospedajes Vacacionales. I could not get access to the property, they told me to see the administator who was not there for the 1st 6 days of our week there. The security guard was also no help. Once we did get in, there were no face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, dish cloths or dish towels. There were no pillow...

"The hotel is advertised as all-inclusive, but it's not. It only includes certain buffet meals and meals around the pool. The restaurants on the property charge extra, which isn't mentioned on the website. I've stayed at other hotels, and I've never encountered an all-inclusive resort that wasn't truly all-inclusive."

"Excellent beds, large room with ocean view and great breakfast included and available from 8 to 12 noon. No elevators, but they gave us a second floor easy walkup with a huge balcony. Good minisplit a/c and wonderful staff. We keep extending our stay. A good value!"
