"Positives : Can't beat the view and just a few steps to the beautiful beach. Place was clean. Very pet friendly as was the beach. Location is wonderful, grocery across the street and plenty of good restaurants close. Negatives: Microwave and coffee makers did not work. Contacted host, very responsive . But we were there for 11 nites and no attempt to fix or replace microwave or coffee maker. Main rug in living area does not have a good oder if u attempt to lay on floor. Overall, no major complaints. Good clean place and hard to complain when ur right on beach. "

"Small hotel with unbeatable location right on Vilano Beach with short drive to downtown St. Augustine. All rooms have an ocean view with small balcony (though first floor may be partially obstructed by sand dunes (we were on second floor)). Hotel is very pet friendly (and dogs are allowed on the beach). Friendly/helpful staff. No pool; breakfast decent not great. Still worth it."

"We really enjoyed staying here, if only for a night on our way further south. A highlight was the amazing breakfast (included), which included meeting Farid, who came around offering fresh fruit, and who we later learned was the hotel’s owner!"

"Loved the house and had a fantastic stay. The house was exactly as described and looked just like it did in the photos. The furniture and beds were in excellent shape. The house was in a perfect location a short walk to the beach and just two blocks from shopping. Plenty of linens, including beach towels. Theatre room, game room, hot tub, putt putt green, propane grill... Super clean bathrooms. All the amenities anyone would need for the perfect vacation. If I want to be ultra picky, the only negatives might be some small damage to a few of the walls (someone went a little fast down the FUN upper bunkbed slide), some of the games have a little wear, doorway to the gameroom floor needs to be repaired... but this stuff is so minor. Highly recommend. Hosts very communitive and quick to answer any questions. Check in a breeze."
