"Room was gorgeous with the most spectacular view of Black Sand Beach. The room was modern with a kitchen living area and huge bathroom. Another great spot for viewing the northern lights. Only a quick 5 minute drive to Vik where the restaurants and activity meeting points are. "

"Incredible stay at Hotel Katla! Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is very easy to find, and perfect for a driving holiday. We got to see the Northern Lights too! Breakfast buffet was fantastic - loads of options and dietary information was very clear which made our experience much better. Really enjoyed the hot tub & sauna too. It was a shared ammenity, but was never too busy."

"Beautiful property, everything is new and modern. We enjoyed our stay here. Keep in mind, it is a hostel style property and was a little more noisy, even in our private room, as other guests were moving about the hallways and closing doors all night to use the bathroom and such. It was not bad at all, just something that should probably be expected at this type of property. With that being said, we would certainly stay here again."
