"I really loved this hotel. It’s extremely comfortable, and the design feels warm and home-like rather than like a typical hotel. The common spaces are large and inviting, and the staff were all very kind and welcoming. I was unfortunately assigned the first room right next to the common area. There wasn’t enough separation between the room and the shared space, and conversations from the common area were quite audible at night. After 10 pm, the door to the common area was still left open, so I closed it myself to reduce the noise. However, the door opening and closing was still quite loud, and the sound insulation could be improved. Aside from this, the stay was excellent. I would happily stay here again."

"Parking is a little tricky for the suites, but manageable. The staff is helpful and responsive, but not overly friendly. There's a bar and a limited menu in the main building. Laundry service available. Amazing views of the ocean, as promised. Less than 10 minutes drive to Vik with all kinds of dining, shopping and fuel. We enjoyed our stay. "

"We stayed at Farmhouse Lodge’s Chicken house for 2 days before Christmas and absolutely loved it. The Chicken house has everything- fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom. The location is wonderful since you can go and see several waterfalls and black sands beaches near by. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to explore that area of Iceland."
