"We stayed in Tropea for one week along with cousins from the UK. The daily walks providing views of the town and the crystal blue waters were breathtaking. Our accommodation at Sui-Generis could not be faulted. Rather than being paying guests, the experience felt like staying with family and friends. The staff were polite, friendly, super efficient and always ready to offer guidance when approached for tips regarding restaurants, boat trips or train travel. This hotel is a 10 room facility , with large rooms, a superb , ultra clean pool and only a short walk to the town centre. Breakfasts are prepared by Emanuella and Anna ( try the omelettes). Coffees, teas and food arranged by Giovanni and Michele, along with their rotating shifts attending the needs of the poolside guests. Front of house is serviced by Mima, Manuela and Domenica, with nothing too difficult to handle. The spotless state of the rooms are due to the hard work of Anna and Ketty. The pool is meticulously cleaned by Gabrielle. Our group has no hesitation in recommending this facility, and it is a credit to the owners ; Francesco and Giuseppe. Thank you for making our visit so welcoming and enjoyable."

"We came to Tropea on a family vacation (with my my sister, our partners and our mom) and stayed at Kairos as our base. The hotel is well located - 10 min walk into the centre of the old town and less than a 10 min walk down to the beach and lidos. Paolo, Rosella and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating and super welcoming and warm. They made us feel like we were staying with family. I would recommend Kairos in a heartbeat. Grazie mille Paolo for everything!"

"The resort was as advertised and did not disappoint; great location with access to beaches, historic centre charm, shopping and dining. The property was well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable. From arrival with a welcoming prosecco to departure the staff from front desk, housekeeping, and dining were courteous, friendly and helpful. We didn’t feel rushed and were pleasantly surprised to interact with the GM (Matteo) daily. Special shoutout to Nicoletta from the front desk for her charm, helpfulness and overall pleasant attitude. The airport transfer was arranged by the hotel and was seamless. The only improvement is really on us to have booked early enough to get a room with a French balcony."

"The staff was helpful, but there were issues with our room: a smell emanating from the shower, a toilet that periodically would keep running and therefore unable to be flushed, and when we wanted to open a bottle of wine, the staff could not find a corkscrew on-site. We had to ask a nearby bar to open the bottle for us. Later that evening, a staff member showed up with corkscrew and two wine glasses but it was too late. At the price paid, it’s not too much to expect a corkscrew. Also no coffee in the room, just tea. All in all, we enjoyed the stay, and the views are incredible, and the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. Just a few minor things lacking."

"Great views from room. Monica was wonderful. Parking was a bit difficult for me being from the U.S. (drove around neighborhood like 4 times and then found parking lot). Not sure if can park on streets. Very busy. Walked to beach. Sanctuary of santa maria (looks like a castle on water) was well worth visiting. Water beach is beautiful. Great breakfast."
