"A charming hotel, we had a spacious room on the second floor overlooking the quaint, cute courtyard. Sat there for bit while we waited for dinner reservation at a near by restaurant. The employees were helpful and made us feel at home. When visiting Tarbes, this the place to stay. "

"Booked for 3 nights. Left after 2 as soon as we could get booked in elsewhere. I understand it’s “budget” but the rooms are more like prison sells. The bathroom was filthy, mould all around the edges, brown splats up the door. Door was falling apart at the bottom. It was 25° when we stayed and the aircon wasn’t working. "Hôtel vieillissant. Peinture écaillée dans les couloirs, odeur d'humidité. Ménage perfectible dans les chambres: poubelle salle de bain non vidée, grille VMC salle de bain pleine de poussière. Plus rien au petit déjeuner en arrivant 45 min avant la fin. Plis de vienoisseries, plus de café, plus de jus d orange. Quelques tranches de brioche sèches sûrement de la veille voire plus. Malgré ma remarque, aucun geste commercial en compensation. Cela aurait été appréciable. "

"This is a top tier hotel. The room, in particular is very well appointed with quality furnishings, bathroom and lighting. The pillows are soft and the bed and linen can't be bettered. Excellent wifi too. You can tell the quality of most hotels by the weight of the entrance door, and this one shouted quality. Good designer, happy guest. A little request though: for serious pianists, the grand piano on the second floor needs an urgent tune up! Please!"

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."
