Pretty lodge, good location, exceptional staff!

Lulu Lodge was a great place to stay, with comfy rooms and beds, a wonderful breakfast, pretty surroundings, and most of all super staff who make their guests feel cared for. Quiet, pretty compound near town.

We are happy to have stayed at the Lulu

The host and his staff were excellent. He went out of his way to drive us around. The air conditioning worked well. There is construction noise in the back during the day.

The owner was out on medical and the staff seemed to be taking advantage of it - the rooms were not ready for our check in - a/c did not work in 2 of 5 rooms, hot water faucets had no water, outlets not working, beds had no sheets. Owner has been made aware of these issues. Rooms appear to be remodeled and in good condition. Staff tried to be helpful but appeared frustrated at our concerns. For the price, I hit what I paid for

The floors have to be impoved. The side of the pool has to be improved maybe putting slub coz the soil is too fine which result to more dust

I would reccomend this property if you need something relatively quick, with a clean room and don't mind the hostel-vibe with noise and kinks Af ew things to note: it is NOT walkable to town, you COULD walk but it would take you at least 40 minutes-its a quick 5 minute DRIVE but you need to rent a car or hire a taxi The owner Mr. John was extremely kind and offers free rides to and from the main town which is a plus and he was very receptive to complaints and tried his best to fix them so 10/10 to him! I unfortunately only had a hot shower on my first of 3 nights, there was always an issue with the water pump (even though Mr John said theres many backup pumps) at least in my room so cold showers were had. I would also recommend asking staff if they have any schools coming by-this place is a popular pit stop for school field trips back into Harare/other places so I was woken up back to back at 4:30 am for a while. overall if you don't mind using earplugs, the chance of a cold shower and dont mind driving into town, and just need a place to rest your head, then this is an affordable okay option for Victoria Falls
