Edge of the Avalon Inn

"We arrived at the hotel and after checking in we went to the dining room, we were greeted by staff who were very friendly and made us feel like they had know us for a long time. Our food was wonderful and after dessert we made our way back to our room which was very comfortable, we had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast was delicious and was part of the room booking. Overall a great place to stay."

"Great location for exploring St. Vincent’s Beach and Mistaken Point. The beach was beautiful and is full of colorful pebbles and rocks. We missed the whales (no capalin to feed on at the time). We did a few hikes at Mistaken Point, which were beautiful. We arrived too late to take the guided hikes, but enjoyed the scenery tremendously. We had a wonderful dinner at Edge of the Avalon Inn. The house is a great location for exploring the area."
BEST View Wonderland-Cozy Cabin on Pond

"Everything was perfect! Check in went very smooth, after the great directions to get there. We were amazed at the BBQ on site, which we used the 3 nights we stayed. We played games after supper each night and had many great belly laughs with our friends. We all felt at home and comfortable. We loved the decor you have! We tried a bit of fishing, with little success but still had fun. That view you have is perfect, trees framing the sides to the dock and pond, outstanding! I read on another review about suggesting getting an awning for the back, and it would have been a bit more perfect to sit in the misty rain out there. Not a complaint though, as everything was perfect! We had a wonderful time visiting the nature park so close by. I would highly recommend you place!"

"This cottage is really close to St. Vincent's Beach and we wanted to see the whales feeding there during our stay. We were able to walk to the beach several times each day to see if there was any activity and on our 4th visit, we were fortunate to see a minke, a seal and a humpback. We also enjoyed hiking a few trails in the community of St. Mary's."
