"Great self-catering apartment in a quiet street a short walk to the town centre. Close to a large supermarket and adjacent to a friendly bar with a good selection of drinks. It can be slightly noisy particularly on Friday & Saturday but the apartment shutters effectively cut down the noise to a low murmur. There is a sitting area outside in a small private garden. "

"The pictures advertised were not the pictures of the property. The mattress was very poor quality. The advertisement said there was a washer/dryer, but there wasn't. Dozens of bites on my body which were worse in the morning. The admin were not bothered at all. The people upstairs were regularly up until 3:00a.m. and you could hear everything despite the advertisement stating there was soundproofing. Had to put down 100euro cash deposit which I did not know about. No credit card option. "

Some previous travelers expressed concern about the challenge of getting their luggage up to the property. "Angelo D'Oro is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Rovinj's beautiful Old Town. Its biggest advantage is the location—nestled among the charming narrow streets and just a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including assisting us with changes to our reservation without any issues. The only minor drawback is that there is no lift to the fourth-floor attic rooms, so be prepared for a few flights of stairs if you're staying at the top of the hotel. Parking is located a little way from the hotel, but the hotel provides a convenient golf cart service to and from the parking area on request, which made the process very easy. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Angelo D'Oro to anyone looking for a characterful, high-quality hotel in the perfect location to explore Rovinj."
