Gîte Le Chalet in Vergt Between Périgueux and Bergerac

Vergt is located in the heart of Dordogne – Périgord, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.



The Vernois region offers a unique lifestyle just an hour from the Aquitaine capital and main cities (Agen, Marmande, Limoges, Brive, etc.). All major sites in the department are less than an hour away.



You’re less than 20 minutes from Périgueux and under 30 minutes from Bergerac—two must-see tourist cities. The Eyzies, the capital of prehistory and the Vézère Valley, cradle of civilization for millennia, are also under 30 minutes away. Reach the Lascaux caves, Sarlat, and the Black Périgord (Domme, Beynac, Castelnaud, La Roque-Gageac, etc.) in 45 minutes.



All this is set in stunning natural landscapes you shouldn’t miss.



The gîte is very comfortable and quiet. Suitable for 2 guests, or 2 guests with a baby (changing table, baby bath, travel cot with mattress provided). Only babies are allowed, not children.

We’re not on boulevard Fénelon, but set back for guaranteed peace and quiet.



For electric vehicles, two charging stations are available in the village at the tourist office and Intermarché.



Small dogs are welcome for an extra charge.



Bed linen and towels are included. End-of-stay cleaning is the guest’s responsibility, or can be requested for an extra charge.
