"The location is fantastic! Everything is so close by - beach, paddling pool, town, great pubs... wonderful. The 'garden' is very small and seems over-rated (although admittedly, the lawn was non-existent due to the drought), as does the bbq in it. We bought a kettle bbq and cooked in the back yard. For our family, the basement kitchen-dining area was the hub of the house and we got really fit climbing up and down the 53 stairs from top to bottom (I counted!). We used the back sitting room as an extra bedroom for the teenage member of our party and didn't miss the space - others might prefer a different configuration. We loved the house and Ventnor so much that we hardly explored all the sites the IoW has to offer. The public transport system is fantastic and you really don't need a car at all - best to come by foot-passenger ferry, train and bus from Ryde. We loved Godshill model village and the Donkey Sanctuary, and had superb walks along the coast in both directions. We would definitely like to return to Bermuda House - it is such a special place and we will cherish happy memories of it."

"We had a lovely stay at Sandpipers, the location is beautiful and the views were stunning. The house was great for our family of five plus our dog and we loved lazy days by the cove as well as venturing out to visit the island and eat out. Super property and highly recommend."

"So glad to have found The Island Holiday Company! The accommodation was spacious, super clean, came with everything we would need to enjoy our stay and great views. Ventnor was lovely to explore and we had amazing food and football Frisbee at Tapnell Farm. The team made booking smooth and we're always on hand, showing customer commitment and attention to detail."

"The apartment I had booked was unavailable due to maintenance so I was offered a move to a larger one in the same building. It had wonderful sea views & came with an allocated parking space, which was very useful as the road was always full of parked cars. When I arrived there was no hot water or heating as the boiler had broken down. After reporting this to the host it was quickly repaired the next day by a plumber! The apartment is well equipped, comfortable & came with Wi-Fi & a smart TV. Very good all round."

"We followed our hosts directions to the parking spot and had no problems but it was tricky. The spot is small and you have to be kind and park close to your neighbour to leave space for other parking. The apartment was clean and spacious for the 4 of us and we were comfy. There are very few cooking supplies so bring what you need if your going to cook. Althought the apartment is comfy and in a lovely spot, there isn't a beach view but if you take short walk you'll be at the beach. "

"The cottage overall is really lovely but needs some privacy blinds in the toilet and bathroom next to the cricket club entrance the musty smell needs addressing probably because the heating needs to be turned up to heat the cottage throughly we had to wear our dressing gowns when we were in there it was quite cold the whole time and the instructions where very complicated so we just left it as it was and sadly I don’t think I would return to this property because of the reasons I have stated here"
