I arrived in Venice by train, and transit to the property was direct and easy via regularly-scheduded boat service from the train station. My departure from LDaVinci Airport was simple and direct, also a shourt walk from the boat pier (but via the canal to the south) which made several stops enroute but delivered me right to the airport - complete with moving sidewalks and escalators direct to the gates! Friends stayed directly next door for THREE TIMES THE PRICE ... need I say more? Nice breakfast is available at a reasonable cost, and can carry you through to dinner.

We were surprised when we arrived that this hotel had been rated so highly. Our room was not very nice, and it was also not very clean. The shower head was spraying everywhere, there were dead bugs on the wall, and the toilet and shower were not clean. We were excited to leave.

Really nice small hotel
This hotel is tucked away down a quiet alley so it is very easy to walk past it. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The lobby and lounge are open attractive spaces. Standard breakfast but staff generously restock up right until the end of breakfast. Restaurant a couple of doors down alongside the canal has good quality food. Straightforward room. They have a couple of outdoor areas with good seating for guests. Location excellent with short walks to the Guggenheim and several museums and churches Really good value hotel and I would happily stay there again.

We used a vaporetto to arrive at this hotel and their instructions were easy to follow. Our room was spacious and clean. Our air conditioning worked well, which helped in this heatwave. We ate at the breakfast buffet each morning, as we thought it was adequate food for the price of 8 euro. I was happy to enjoy as much coffee as I wanted! The staff answered all questions and were welcoming each time we saw them.

Superb location, 5 minutes walk from Accademia or Zattere vaporetto stops. Very near Santa Maria della Salute, Peggy Guggenheim gallery, and the English church. We chose Casa Accademia to be able to participate in the Redentore festival and it proved ideal, very near to the votive pontoon bridge, Redentore church, the Saturday night fireworks, and the Sunday rowing regatta. The room was very basic but with good bathroom, shower, bidet, kettle, mosquito repellent device, air conditioning. No TV (great!) but could have done with a small fridge and maybe a safe. There are a couple of covered outside terraces, one with good views to Salute. Cleaning, towels changed only on request. Electric adapters needed and reception has a drawer full to borrow. Reception only staffed during the day so don’t lose your key! Breakfasts (€8) were OK if you like croissants and ham but for us the selection of fruit was very limited and of poor quality. The takeaway breakfast we needed for our early morning start on departure was terrible, a rubber croissant, some dry biscuits and a black liquid banana which soaked everything. Several good restaurants nearby, and a Conad grocery store on the Zattere.

This hotel is very good value for the facility. Rooms were clean. Showers worked great. Air conditioning was nice and cold. Staff was friendly and was helpful with suggestions. Location is near some interesting sites and tasty restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We had party of 9 with 6 rooms. The rooms are like dorm rooms, but are quiet and comfortable (and you’re going to out sight seeing all day and into evening anyway). Roof terrace was a pleasant surprise and comfortable! Highly recommended. June 2023

Location location 👍
Spent one night here and we were really impressed. We were able to store bags before check in and the staff were really helpful. Room is light and airy and bed was comfortable. There's no TV in the room which wasn't a problem for us at all but might bother some guests.we had an early flight so could have breakfast but the dining room looked nice. Bonus is a lovely roof terrace and the location in Dorsoduro is perfect. Sox minute walk to the Zattere water bus and Alilaguna stop. Highly recommend and excellent value. Thanks

It is not a hotel it is more like hostel. No tv no safe box. No proper luggage deposit room We had to leave it in the office.The beds are not comfortable. Cold in the room. The girl in the reception was extremely nice. Tried to make it up for us. I wouldn't recommend this place

On the quiet side of town between the Accademia and Zattare ferry stops. The 5.2 line is much faster than the grand canal lines, which we learned from the hotel lobby. We had a great view of a canal, if we looked down. My friends had fantastic views from the private terrace.

Great place for few days trip.
Away from crazy crowds, walkable distance to all top attractions and vapporeto stops, good places to eat around, quite. Not the most comfortable place and poor breakfasts but great for its price. I wish there are more comfortable beds and better showers. Very friendly staff.

I can not express how much I enjoyed staying here. It is a modest hotel but it had everything that we needed. I loved the out door patio and terrace. Best place to relax after a long day. The location was really great, we were never far from anything. Francesco, Davide and Paula are very good host. The breakfast that they provided was really great and convenient to have. If you are thinking about staying here, I would definitely recommend.

Great little place tucked in the middle of Venice! Good pricing and nice staff. Room was much larger than I expected for the location. We were in a 4 person suite but still was impressed with the size and convenience.

Convenient place to stay in Venice
Convenient location close to two vaporetto stops and a grocery store. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was a little noisy (specifically people closing doors and chatting in the hallways), but not enough to disrupt sleep.

A bit of a walk from the main landmarks however a beautiful spot that we actually enjoyed even more than being in the main bit. Great bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was quite basic but a good size and clean. Nice little roof terrace on the third floor.

This was a very reasonable option for an overnight stay in Venice. Fantastic central position, friendly amenable staff who were helpful and kind . It was a little lacking in atmosphere and a little basic but for the price I would definitely stay again..a great little find

Above and beyond service
Our flights were heavily delayed and the receptionist (I forget the name) stayed beyond his shift to check us in near to midnight. He also gave pinpoint directions for us to get from the airport and then to navigate from the bus station to the hotel. The room was air conditioned and really nice. Service was flawless and would highly recommend staying at Casa Accademia.

This lovely little hotel is a perfect no frills place to stay for a trip in Venice. Clean, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, it is great value for such a central location. Take advantage of the roof terrace for a gorgeous view!
