Lemon Tree in Vembanad Island from AU$48

From start to finish our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, they even managed to book a train trip for us which at such late notice was no mean feat! The food was delicious, the room beautifully decorated and the amenities extremely well maintained. We took the complimentary sunset cruise and did a cooking class which was a lot of fun.

Clean, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

The waterfront view was exceptional from the balcony. The staff were helpful and eager to please all round. However, the room house keeping was less than optimal. On one day the room cleaning was missed entirely even when the “Please clean the room” sign was on display all day outside the room. That said, we still plan to return to Niraamaya Resort Kumarakom in the future.

Room was clean and the air conditioning had been on, so we entered to a cool room. The food was exceptionally healthy. All the staff were great but the standouts were Daniel k and Prousha. They both went above and beyond to make a wish of mine come true.

A beautiful spot, lots to do so you never have to leave the property

Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The rooms are very modern and clean. There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests. The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help. Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala. We will happily come back again.

Check in and check out was smooth. We booked lakeside Villa and our room was well maintained. The lakeside views from our room were gorgeous. Our stay was very pleasant. The staff of the property are courteous and friendly.
