El camino de acceso impone la primera vez por las cuestas, pero pronto te acostumbras. Muy limpio y los propietarios muy amables y serviciales tanto antes como durante la visita. "The hotel is exquisite,the rooms were kept very clean,the staff at the hotel went over and above to help us. I can specifically name one staff member Khalil and all the staff at the hotel,communicated all the important information even before we left for the holiday,resolved and offered reassurances on any questions we had about the hotel and the surrounding area. The food was excellent especially the dinner menu,which offered a 3 course set menu accompanied by a bottle of wine,the breakfast was okay with a lot of choices of fruit,bread,cakes etc because it was continental breakfast,I personally I am not a big fan,would prefer a cooked breakfast.The service was excellent.Our rooms had a jacuzzi in the bedroom,a choice of 2 bathrooms with showers and a lounge. The only tiny bit was all the TV programmes were in Spanish,maybe to offer a few options language wise.The hotel had a pool which was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a place where there’s peace and beautiful beaches."

"We were travelling with a dog and had the pet suite. It was very spacious with a huge long balcony. Very comfortable beds, good shower, excellent breakfast. Staff were also excellent. Only minor things were no fridge in the room and no coffee/kettle in the room. The price for a single night at approx GBP 340 was also very expensive. It was by far the most expensive hotel in a 2-week trip staying at numerous different places across 10 countries."

"The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day."
