A secret jewel in Normandy, this beautiful bed and breakfast is full of carefully thought details, and the building is in perfect condition. The thatch roof cancels the rain sounds. The host was very nice and helpful, and we got all this for an excellent price. If you are visiting Étretat, Le Havre or Honfleur, consider staying here, you will be happy you did.

Lovely stay at Normandy

We had a wonderful stay at the B&B. The hosts were lovely. The house is interesting, it’s a half timbered frame with thatched roof. The garden and the interiors were all very well kept. There are chickens by the pond and a very adorable cat on the property.

Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans cette jolie chaumière normande avec notre bébé de 8 mois. La « chambre » ( en fait plutôt un F2 est composé d’une pièce avec lit double, la seconde pièce étant composée d’une table et d’un canapé). Cela s’est révélé très pratique avec un bébé qui dormait dans une pièce pendant que les adultes dînaient dans l’autre. Le tout était très propre et la décoration y était à la fois simple et moderne. L’environnement était très calme et dans l’ensemble la propriété a un charme bucolique. Le propriétaire propose un petit déjeuner complet avec fruits du jardin, œufs du poulailler et autres produits de la région. Enfin, l’emplacement est à moins de 30 minutes d’Étretat ou de Fécamp. C'est un cadre idéal à la fois pour une petite famille ou une escapade en amoureux.

Retour au calme et confort

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits avec les enfants. Ils ont aimé tout autant que nous: le calme la piscine le confort, l'espace pour jouer ou pour manger dehors ou en intérieur. Le cadre est assez atypiques mais bien confortable quand même. La piscine est chauffée, mais légèrement pour un moi de mai, c'était un peu frais mais on a pu s'y détendre après une bonne journée à Etretat. L'hôte est très accueillant et serviable c'est un sacré atout. Il y a de la place pour stationner son véhicule c'est plutôt cool.

Nichée au cœur de la campagne normande, La Chaumière Normand est un véritable joyau, où chaque détail est soigneusement pensé pour offrir un confort absolu à ses hôtes. Les chambres sont d'une beauté époustouflante, décorées avec goût dans un style qui allie élégance traditionnelle et modernité subtile. La literie est d'un confort exceptionnel, garantissant des nuits de sommeil réparateur. Chaque matin, nous nous sommes réveillés entourés de la tranquillité apaisante de la nature, un véritable luxe en soi. L'emplacement de La Chaumière Normand est idéal pour ceux qui recherchent une escapade tranquille, loin de l'agitation urbaine.
