"Amazing view of the caldera! It is front and center with no other apartments in front, such a perfect spot for the sunset. The hot tub was also amazing. We stayed in Iatis Nest and even had views from our hottub! The staff were extremely helpful. The manager Anastasia organised transfers to and from our prior hotel and also to the port. They also have someone to help you with the luggage and show you to the room as well. Overall amazing and you really can’t beat the view! Would stay again"

"The view from my balcony was breathtaking! I am not a morning person but I got up early every day to have a coffee on my balcony and watch the sunrise. Sunsets were beautiful too. The breakfast was very nice, the front desk was helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable and I love the scent of the lotion/body wash amenities. Also had a nice lunch and cocktails at the pool bar. Location was great and 10 min walk to the Fira. Overall a wonderful hotel!!!"

"We had a great stay at Amber Lights especially that it's our first time in Santorini. Everyday you get to witness the gorgeous views of the sun rising over the Agean sea. We also had a lovely breakfast buffet every day. Plus I love that you get a plunge pool or hot tub in or outside your room. Though I wasnt able to enjoy it much since the pool water was too cold for me. But its pretty for photos! Like the other comments though, the area is just a bit far from the touristy places of Oia and Fira. Yes, taxi is expensive so if you have 1 or 2 free days to explore more, better rent a car cause taxi rides costs 35euros per way or their Uber version is around 25 euros per way. While car rentals, depending on the car you want, costs only 30-60 euros per day."

"Lovely hotel with amazing views of the caldera from the terrace and pool area. The breakfast was also very good, with a great variety of options. We were travelling with another couple, and we had both booked exactly the same room category. Upon arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded to larger rooms, which was a lovely surprise. However, the rooms we received were quite different. Our friends were given a beautiful room on a higher level with a very spacious balcony and spectacular caldera views, while unfortunately, our room was on a lower level with a much smaller balcony and a partially obstructed view. Had we booked different room categories, we would certainly have understood the difference. However, since we had made identical reservations, we were disappointed that the upgrades were not comparable. Fairness and consistency are important to us, and this difference in the rooms affected our overall experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful setting, breakfast, and views, but given the disparity between the rooms, I unfortunately cannot give the hotel a five-star rating."
