Candlewood Suites Logan by IHG

Candlewood Suites Logan by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"Loved my room it was clean and well maintained. Sheet, pillows and towels were also in good shape. WiFi was pretty stable. I do wish the lighting was brighter. Ice maker in the fridge was awesome. Dishwasher ran surprisingly well, it's a very basic model. Must be careful cooking, the smoke detectors are very sensitive. Neighbors set it off and it triggered the fire department. All in all I would definitely come back, I had a nice stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The washer and dryers were free, that was a pretty good perk."

"We stayed 4 nights at Tyler’s cabin, everything was brand new and exceptionally clean. We loved the privacy and location on top of the mountain, plenty of room to park trailers and off load machines. Tyler was very friendly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this cabin!"

"Clean, private setting with plenty of room. Good location to a few different trail systems that are close by. Restaurant/bar is close enough to ride sxs there. And also another that can be taken by road or trail to get to. Host replied quickly with any questions I had and accommodating."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Varney?
The best time to visit Varney is during the spring (late April to early June) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities.Spring brings mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region, such as hiking or enjoying the blooming wildflowers. The foliage is fresh and green, and the rivers are often at a good level for water sports.Autumn offers similarly comfortable temperatures, usually between 10°C and 20°C, and is particularly stunning due to the vibrant display of changing leaf colours across the Appalachian mountains. This season is superb for scenic drives and photography, especially along routes like the Hatfield-McCoy Trails system, which is a major draw for visitors.Summer (July and August) can be quite warm and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, which might be less comfortable for strenuous outdoor activities.
