Stylish and relaxing

One of my favourite hotels of anywhere I’ve travelled. A superb style all of its own and very relaxing atmosphere. Food is excellent and based right on the picturesque town square. You’ll love it!

The hotel is nice and clean, and the surroundings are just great. The roof top bar and restaurant is excellent. The personell in the reception takes down the overall experience though. This time when we arrived we hade booked a room with two separate beds, since I was travelling with my teenage daughter. When we came in to the room there was only one bed, made for two persons. I went back to the reception and told the staff, who in turn asked me to myself go and make bed sofa myself. Which I in turn asked them to do, since it was not advertised as a do it yourself hotel, and not charged as such. Did not find the staff either helpful or customer focused. This takes down the overall feeling and athmosphere. We also had a few complaints last time we stayed at the same hotel, only 6 months earlier, which we reported to the hotel management in their customer feedback survey. We never heard back from hotel management though, so it is unclear to us if this is somehting they even look at. We will choose another hotel next time we are in Varberg.

Vakkert noir-hotell

Varberg by var veldig koselig, og hotellet var stilmessig helt fantastisk, anbefaler en rusletur rundt omkring for å se på hotellets fellesarealer! Rommene var lirr upraktisk utformet, det var ikke mulig å få satt fra seg to kofferter på gulvet, og heller ikke skapplass til å legge fra seg tøyet. Ellers var det fint. Vi oppdaget at vi hadde blitt plassert på ett av to hundetillatte rom, de lå for seg selv og vi fikk et par med hund ved siden av oss andre dagen, som bjeffet noe. Men jevnt over var vi godt forhold, og frokosten var veldig bra.
