Very nice room - large with seating area - kind of colonial style. We had dinner at the restaurant- it was good but not fantastic. What made our stay great, though was the breakfast. Excellent servings - and Sue, our waiter, was wonderful and attentive :)

The hotel was lovely, and once the spa renovations are finished it will be an incredible place to stay. Just now many spa functions did not work. The location is incredible. Service staff were all kind and helpful. Things that i think need improving - tea/coffee making facilities in room - and black out blinds or drapes - the room was far too bright (May) which made it hard to sleep. I liked the concept of the tapas style breakfast but it needs indicated on the menu.

För att vara Superior med havsutsikt och lite extra så skulle man behöva uppdatera finishen endel. Ta bort badkaret tillexempel och kanske en ac. Vad beträffande utbudet av öl i baren så är de lite skralt. Ok med lokalt men se till att ha den största lokala ölen som då finns i området Eriksberg typ .Måste vara bättre kvalitet på lagerölen.

Varberg Kusthotell, fra sjarmerende kysthotell til dyrere og mer anonym opplevelse Vi har besøkt Kusthotellet flere ganger gjennom årene og har alltid satt pris på stedet. Hotellet har hatt en særegen sjarm som har gjort at vi gjerne har kommet tilbake til den vakre svenske vestkysten. Hotellet har blitt pusset opp siden sist og fremstår uten tvil som mer moderne og påkostet. Resultatet er pent, men samtidig opplever vi at mye av hotellets tidligere karakter og egenart har blitt borte. Dessverre virker det også som om prisnivået har blitt oppgradert mer enn selve gjesteopplevelsen. Rommet fremstår nå som nettopp bare et rom, uten flere av de fasilitetene jeg forventer til denne prisen. Det var ingen morgenkåper eller tøfler til bruk ved morgenbad i havet, ingen bodylotion, ingen vannkoker eller kaffe, og heller ikke kjøleskap til oppbevaring av kald drikke. Vi måtte til og med be om ekstra toalettpapir. I tillegg fungerte ikke lyspæren i nattbordslampen og rullgardina lot seg ikke justere. Den største skuffelsen var likevel støyen. Rommet vårt lå rett over restauranten. En av årets varmeste netter gjorde mangelen på aircondition merkbar, og vi ønsket derfor å ha vinduene åpne. Det var imidlertid umulig på grunn av høylytte gjester. Da vi klokken 02.00 gikk ned for å si fra, oppdaget vi at personalet hadde skrudd opp musikken mens de ryddet for kvelden. Dagen etter startet en ansatt klokken 07.00 med å blåse sand med motorblåser utenfor hotellet. For et hotell som markedsføre
