"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"This is our second time at Chetica. Each room has a unique, themed design. We have stayed in Seville and this time in “Big Bear” which reminds you of a mountain cabin. The rooms have big bathrooms and a kitchenette with a coffeemaker and coffee provided. The breakfast is delicious. You are in the hills with fresh air and beautiful gardens. It is very convenient if you are driving to the Caribbean side and don’t want to drive that road at night. The only small problem that we have run into is...

We enjoyed the pool (natural spring water) and the view. The breakfast is very traditional and good quality. We thanks to whole family for this experience. "Absolutely stunning property in the middle of the forest! This location is a must. You are surrounded by nature and all you hear day and night is the rushing of the river. Every single staff member there was very friendly and helpful. Cabins are spacious and include a kitchenette in them. Day activities were easy to schedule. Ziplining was fantastic here, highly recommended!"

"Great hotel. German college interns always available and very helpful. Only drawback, nobody, including cab drivers, could find this place. We stayed 2 nights and BOTH nights we journeyed out only to find that taxi drivers had no idea where this place was and that was AFTER showing them the address card that the hotel had given us. Very Weird."
