"This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!"

"The home and location where wonderful. Great, quiet relaxing spot. Beautiful surroundings. On arrival, we found the propery to have a very strong and harsh chemnical smell, like mothballs or varnish. We let the owner know and were told it was from cleaning, and to open the windows. (It was in the low 90's outside!! We could not swim as there was no ladder on the dock to enable us to climb out of the water and the boat launch area is rocky and slick so we did not venture out that way. The sitting area at the end of the dock was covered with bird droppings so was not an inviting spot to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed our stay, but would not return to this home. "
