Nice house in the village!

Nice cozy house in the village of Oriental. The house is conveniently located in the center of Oriental, and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. The house has everything you will need for your stay, and is dog friendly!

Oriental Pugh House

We truly enjoyed our stay. Ashley was a wonderful host. She responded quickly to my questions. We loved the bikes! The property was as pleasant and warm as the town itself!

Great location in lovely costal town

The house overall was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own bedrooms, with the kids upstairs giving us all some room. The dogs loved the great big back yard. The location was perfect, so close to town, it was easy and fun to bike to the park and coffee shop daily. We hit the foods trucks across the street at the brew pub for easy meals. Overall it was a terrific stay, we love Oriental and hope to stay at this property again.

Perfect getaway!

We had the best time during our stay in oriental. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was very cozy and plenty of space for our family (4 adults 4 kids). The “secret closet with kids toys really made this place magical for our kiddos and was a lovely surprise. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, option to ride bikes and the proximity to the waterfront and coffee shop. We hope to return!

Perfect Getaway with Charm, Comfort, and a Great Yard for Dogs!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this charming 1930s home in Oriental, NC. The house was clean, cozy, and well maintained—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the screened-in patio where we enjoyed morning coffee, the super comfortable bed, and the beautiful, spacious yard. The fenced-in area was a huge plus for our dogs, who had just as much fun as we did! Communication with Ashley was smooth and easy, and check-in was a breeze. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Our family had a great time visiting extended family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was clean and well kept. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This historic house is exactly as described. It is so convenient to walk anywhere in Oriental. It was also exceptionally clean and well stocked. The host was available for questions and the check-in and check-out process was easy.

Comfortable and quaint

We enjoyed our stay at the Pugh House for a work/short vacation trip. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the owner reached out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house was ideally located--close to restaurants, shops, water front; and the people of Oriental were very friendly and welcoming!

Comfortable and Charming

We loved our stay in this lovely older but updated home in historic Oriental. The house had so much charm and personality. We found everything we needed for our stay. The location is great... walking distance to the waterfront and most anything you would want to do in Oriental, including some good restaurants and a brewery.

Perfect home away from home

Just like home

We loved our second stay at Pugh house. This time we brought the grandparents too! Beds are comfy, owner is always helpful & kind, we love the porch and feel like we are cozy and at home. Grandparents loved downstairs bedroom near the bathroom & away from the kids!

The most relaxing place ever

From the moment we pulled in the driveway we could tell that this was going to be a great place. The porch to sit on, screened in porch to relax on, peaceful location, great yard - it was incredible. It is close enough to everything to be convenient but in a quiet neighborhood. This is my new favorite place. We slept great, the pups slept great after playing in the backyard and we could walk to the marina. This was a little slice of heaven.

Oriental sailing camp

Well maintained older home. With 4 teens and tweens the sparsity of electrical outlets for charging phones, watched and I-pads was a challenge. Loved the screened in porch with swing and the availability of bicycles. Kids rode to camp each day and to a nearby park. All good except Oriental municipal water!

Charming wonderful experience

My husband and I could not have asked for any better place to stay. The place felt like home immediately when we opened the door. Well stocked with more then you would need for our stay. Very clean and close to the perfect little beach and park on the water with chairs along the water way to watch the boats and read a good book. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops and docks. Bikes we provided to ride everywhere we wanted to go. Quiet neighborhood for walking our dog. Just didn't want to leave. The house is beautiful inside and out. The owners were available for any questions to be answered. Just felt like a forever home. Thank you for letting us enjoy one of the best times of our lives.

Comedy of errors first day

….. but owners were awesome! First I couldn’t understand the lock box, and of course, right after calling, I figured it out, sooooo, sorry for the numb brain call, second, we wanted to watch Game 7 Stanley Cup, couldn’t figure out the Roku stuff, we don’t have Roku, unfamiliar territory, but they walked us through it in a huge laughter event. After that, our stay was still awesome, no hitches no glitches. Neighbors were nice, town was friendly, views on river spectacular. Town was as special place for my girlfriend, grew up there family vacations since a child. I’m glad I made the call. Thanks folks Kevin and Susan

Easy stay in great location

Stayed here for one night before camp drop off, plenty of room and super convenient to the town of Oriental. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the stuff around because it was a short day, but the bikes would’ve been loved by all. Hot water, cute house, great location- would gladly stay here again.
