"Superbly modernised boutique hotel in a historic building in the old town of Ljubljana. Location is perfect for all bars, restaurants and places of interest. Staff are very warm and friendly, speak great English and are efficient and helpful. All areas are spotless. Breakfast buffet has a wide range of fresh and good quality food - pastries, cakes, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold meat and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, teas, coffees and juices. Beds are comfortable and so is the temperature inside the building (many places in Slovenia were uncomfortably hot). Room contains a free safe. Shower is large and powerful. Mini bar fridge is the usual. The only minor issue is that there is limited hanging space for clothes. Highly recommended."

"I was there for 5 nights and it was a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I try to pick a good location and since I wasn't familiar with the city, I did my best. I chose well - the hotel was close to the castle and several parks. There was a huge variety of places to eat or relax in the evening."

"Loved the beautiful, spacious, vintage style two bedroom apartment with a lovely view of Ljubljana castle. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge, microwave oven, stove, cooking utensils, dishwashing liquid, drying rack, cutlery, and chinaware. There were also plenty of charging points around the apartment and the wifi is secure. Despite not offering daily cleaning, we could request complimentary refills of the coffee and tea sachets and additional towels if we needed. Although there was only one bathroom, it was spacious and had good heating so one does not feel cold coming out of the shower. Additionally, entering and exiting the apartment building via the large wooden castle-like doors added to the charm. The staff were also cheerful and took initiative to recommend points of interest and local restaurants. Would totally choose to stay here again, even if the place is a 15 minute walk from the bus station, because of its charm and proximity to the old town. "
