Helpful & courteous staff, clean and welcoming property. External signage could be improved - confusing and difficult to find

We had economy double which was quite small but for one night it was fine. Breakfast was good although maybe more wholewheat bread options would have been good. Nice hotel. Would stay again

This boutique hotel was built in 1856, has most of the original character but with modern ensuite bathrooms installed in the spacious rooms. It is located within easy walking distance (with luggage) from the Poschiavo train station and right on the lovely town square. Our welcome was warm and friendly. Very quiet and scenic location half hour by train out of St Moritz.

We had a wonderful 15 night stay at the Hotel Mueller in Pontresina. Our room was lovely with very comfortable beds, plenty of storage and windows looking out to the mountains. Our bathroom was spacious and kept very clean. The breakfasts had a good variety, plentiful supplies and we especially enjoyed the excellent local cheeses and meats. Staff were always helpful but not intrusive - there when needed for ideas and advice. The location is great - a few minutes walk to Pontresina Post bus stop...

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Italy. Such a lovely renovated hotel in an old house with character. We stayed in the attic room and the sky lights were really nice to have. Service and breakfast was amazing!

We have travelled through Europe for the past 4 weeks and stayed in some pretty impressive big name hotels along the way, but nothing compared to this. The staff are brilliant. They went out of their way to make our time at Nira Alpina the best possible, from the moment we met the lovely gentleman at the train station for our transfer to the moment we were dropped off at the station to go home. This is an excellent hotel with very helpful and efficient staff. It is very well located close to public transport and funiculars, as well as many restaurants and cafes. The free transport card available to guests who spend more than one night at the hotel is a great idea. We were able to visit other towns close by such as St. Moritz and Samedan. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast and our room was spotless. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff very attentive and nothing any trouble. View from room spectacular. Walked across bridge over road into village of Sergio. Narrow alleyways, stone houses. Very old and historical with lots of character. A gem.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Kronenhof! The hotel has an amazing history and great old world glamour. The rooms are spacious and the amenities and spa were top notch. By far the biggest plus at the hotel were the staff. The were all exceptional and really warm. They offered great recommendations and Daniel the concierge was a standout.
