Just returned from a perfect week at Maison Artus. The house is lovely - just as shown in the photos. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool. Stephanie met us on arrival to show us round and quickly responded to any messages both before and during the stay. Recommended!

Wonderful villa near to Uzes

Maison Artus was a beautiful holiday villa a few minutes drive from magical Uzes. Our host and owner, Stephanie, could not have been more helpful and friendly from the time of booking and was immediately responsive to our questions. The villa was comprehensively equipped and very stylish. It technically sleeps 8 but we were 5 adults which felt perfect for the size of house. A very lovely place to holiday in a truly special region of France.

La Maison Artus is a lovely, excellently equipped and very clean house at 10 minutes by car from Uzès. Hostess Stéphanie is nice, helpful and very communicative. Despite the changeable weather, we still had a great week! In short, this is a house to return to.

Charmante maison à Uzès

Accueil sympathique de l’hôte. Très charmante maison décorée avec goût avec tout le nécessaire pour passer une belle semaine en famille . Un peu éloignée du centre-ville à notre goût il faut la voiture pour tout et en vélo les routes ne sont pas adaptées.

Maison Artus

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt, so macht es Spass. Mit dem Empfang wussten wir bereits das es Gut kommt, herzlich, sympathisch und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr gut ausgerüstet es fehlt an nichts. Der Aussenbereich mit Garten, Sitzplatz und Pool ergänzen das wunderschönen Objekt. Man braucht unbedingt ein Fahrzeug ansonsten ist man eingeschränkt, daher ist die schöne Lage im Mobilitätsaspekt auch der einzige Negativpunkt den wir nennen können Gerne wieder.

De l'accueil au départ tout a été parfait, gentillesse et aide quand cela a été nécessaire de la part de notre hôte. Maison de charme à l'intérieur et jardin fleuri à l'extérieur, senteur des lauriers et chant des cigales en fond, sans oublier la piscine, point focal des grands et des petits. En prime une région attrayante tant par ses paysages que par l'amabilité de ses habitants. 20/20...on peut pas faire moins... Une dose de rappel sera sûrement nécessaire.

Leuk verblijf

Het verblijf was leuk. Uzès is een aanrader. Tegenvallend vonden we de kapotte afwasmachine die tijdens ons verblijf niet gemaakt kon worden. Communicatie daarover was niet goed. Het huis ligt in een ongezellige buurt. Naast het huis wordt gebouwd en zag je de bouwvakkers lopen waardoor we geen privacy hadden. We hadden geen last van het lawaai maar dat uitzicht van dat huis hadden we niet verwacht en graag anders gezien. Eind conclusie, het was een leuke week met een goed huis met 2 minpunten.

Dichtbij Uzês en St.Quentin, een groot huis met zwembad en tuin, het interieur tot in de puntjes verzorgd, modern-landelijke stijl, zeer gezellig (open haard en houten balken), keuken en bijkeuken volledig uitgerust, je hoeft niets mee te nemen, bedden gedekt, hand- en baddoeken in overvloed, goede ontvangst en wat ‘n mooi dorpjes en steden in de omgeving. Wonderful house and host

We have been coming to Uzes for our summer holiday for a few years as it's so gorgeous and the locals are so friendly. We've just returned from a two week stay in Stephanie's home. It was absolutely brilliant. Stephanie was a lovely and friendly host and despite us not speaking French we managed to communicate pretty well in person and even better over email with Google translate! She guided us around the property upon our arrival and let us know about events and markets that were on in the surrounding area. She also had some great recommendations for restaurants. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us including essentials such as water, washing liquid, bin liners and wine!! The house itself was in a great location. 10 mins max drive to Uzes and St Quentin, 40 mins from Nimes and Avignon and just over an hour to Montpelier. But to be honest, we didn't venture too far as it was so lovely by the pool. The only thing that might have been improved was a couple more sunbeds. There were 4, and 2 deckchairs for 6 of us. But Stephanie had told us that a couple of the sunbeds had broken and they were in the process of looking for more, so it was just unlucky timing I think. We had incredibly hot weather this summer and Stefanie had included fans in each bedroom as there was no air con in the house. These certainly helped a bit. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Uzes and I would recommend it. The house is great and well equipped, the outside area, pool and BBQ are lovely and the location is excellent if you have a car. Thanks for having us!
