75 anniversay of a WWII mission

We all loved the property. It was a beautiful home in an idyllic setting. Both the indoor and outdoor living spaces were welcoming and comfortable. There is no internet as stated in amenities. This was difficult for the first 2 days while some business contracts had to be finished. But our visit was a very special one. Siorac close by for bakery and grocery shopping. An excellent restaurant in Urval that is very busy be sure to make reservations. We were late in our arrival and the owner met my daughter and was very welcoming and gracious. She could be reached by texts during our stay. This property is highly recommended, just be sure you don't need the internet.

Place to escape to the country

Staying in the house for a wedding a local chateau, so location was ideal for this. Urval is a very small town with one small local restaurant but Sioroc is 5 minutes away and has all amenities required. The swimming pool looking back over the town is a great place to spend a summers afternoon. If you're looking for somewhere so get away and relax this house is ideal!!

Charmant mas de caractère dans charmant village. Piscine très agréable dans un cadre calme, éloigné de la circulation, idéal pour des familles. Petit bémol au niveau des équipements, un vrai parasol est indispensable pour ce type de maison (voire plusieurs), prévoir des couteaux qui coupent. De meme, il y a des jeux de société pour grands enfants mais rien n'est prévu pour les enfants en bas âge, dommage ! Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Impeccable!!

Nous sommes venus a Urval pour notre mariage au Chateau de la Bourlie. La location était idéale, étant juste a quelques minutes du Chateau. La maison tres agréable, tres bien équipée. Nous avions des amis avec nous, et nous avons cuisine pour une dizaine de personnes tous les soirs et nous avions tous ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous avons eu quelques soucis avec l'électricité dans une piece le premier soir, ainsi qu'une douche, et Sandrine a immédiatement résolue le problème. Nous avons tellement aime le lieu, que nous avons demande a rallonger notre séjour de qqs jours, ce que Sandrine nous a accorde immédiatement. Nous recommandons vivement cette location exceptionnelle, situee dans un lieu magique, calme totale, et piscine parfaite! Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir a la prochaine opportunite! Excellent séjour en Périgord

Très belle maison périgourdine située sur les hauteurs du village d'Urval. La maison est très agréable à vivre, authentique et fonctionnelle. On peut prendre les repas autrour d'une grande table, à l'extérieur sous le grand arbre comme à l'intérieur dans le salon. Nous avons beaucoup aimé aussi prendre l'apéritif le soir sur la terrasse avec la vue sur le vallon qui descend vers Urval. La piscine située encontrebas de la terrasse a été très appréciée quand il faisait chaud. Pour finir, les hôtes sont charmants et très accueillants.

Charme et quiétude, un lieu privilégié

La location correspondait tout à fait à notre attente, alliant le charme de l'ancien, la beauté du site et sa tranquillité. La maison est située en hauteur entre deux vallées offrant une vue dégagée et le terrain est vaste, avec la piscine construite en contrebas. Et à la nuit tombée, loin de toute pollution lumineuse, le ciel étoilé fut notre bonus. Cuisine bien équipée, bel espace devant la maison pour prendre les repas...Sandrine et Franck nous ont très bien conseillés, le restaurant d'Urval est à recommander ainsi que le groupement des producteurs à Siorac, situé à 4km, pratique pour se régaler avec les produits locaux. Un séjour très réussi !

Tout d'abord, les propriétaires sont particulièrement accueillants. Ensuite, le cadre de la maison est très très charmant, avec quelques maisons fleuries au bout du chemin, c'est magnifique. La maison est spacieuse et les équipements facilement mis à disposition. Ce fût un excellent séjour, avec du soleil en bonus. Il ne manque plus qu'un accès wifi sur place pour les accros aux technologies (ne concerne que ceux qui n'arrivent pas à lâcher le pc en vacances) sinon tout est parfait. Merci pour tout !

Merveilleux séjour !

Superbe maison chaleureuse et confortable très bien située dans un lieu calme et reposant. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la terrasse et de la piscine particulièrement agréable. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les visites et les activités à faire. Nous recommandons cette location. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la descente de la Dordogne en canoë dans un paysage magnifique.

De belles vacances!

Une maison très agréable avec des amis et des enfants. De l'espace, une pièce à vivre sympa avec les baies vitrées et le babyfoot, idéale quand les soirées sont un peu fraîches ou pluvieuses. Le bistro du village est très chouette, avec de bons petits plats régionaux. Nous vous recommandons cette belle maison périgourdine tenue par des propriétaires sympathiques.

La demeure (maison + sa dépendance) est fort agréable à vivre en famille élargie, située dans le charmant petit village d'Urval, procha de la Dordogne (Canoé, baignade). La piscine et le baby-foot furent très appréciés par tous: pourquoi pas une table de ping-pong ?
