"The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay."

"The sheets were stained and dirty, the location is extremely noisy, very thin walls and windows. You can hear the noise in the street until 3 AM.. not recommended for a relaxing stay. The whole room just felt dirty. Other than that, the price was good."

"From poor amenities to terrible bedding, this was a bad stay. Despite advertisements, there is no Laundry Facility, no 24hr desk service, no concierge, intermittent wifi, no coffee shop, and no sound proof rooms. Breakfast was terrible - old and dried out pan de aqua with bad jam and instant coffee. Bedding was horrible. My daughter who had been sleeping on the floor at our relatives house the previous two nights, insisted that the mattress was actually harder than the tile floor and that it was...

"We booked 2 days before our stay, and on arrival we were told the the hotel was over booked and a room in another hotel had been arranged for us. We were moved to Hostal Rio Dorado, which was once of the worst hotels I have stayed in. It was extremely loud, both from the inside and out, we had a room facing the street on which people were talking until 2am (not helpful when we woke up at 4am to walk to Machu Picchu), the toilet ran all night and was leaking on the bathroom floor, there was a 5%...

"Clean and spacious room. Good breakfast and good location. Very friendly staff who gave us information about Machu Picchu during the protests (Dec 2022) and about the bus to Hidroelectrico (start of hike along train tracks to Aguas Caliente)."

"Amazing service and communication. Location is fantastic. Breakfast is tasty. They will meet you at the train station and take your bags back to the station when you leave. They had a living room we could use with couch and restroom when we arrived hours before check in. I would give more stars if I could."
"This place is gorgeous serenity in the midst of what can be a wild town. My 5th floor room with floor to ceiling windows and views of the Andes was everything I’d hoped for! Feel like an ecolodge, right over the river from the train station and walking distance to everything."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. Maylin in particular was super friendly, patient, and always willing to help when we needed directions or had questions getting around. She made everything a lot easier.
There was also a man who helped us with our bags as soon as we got off the train. He was incredibly welcoming and set a really good first impression for the hotel.
The room was comfortable and the location was great. A beautiful view of the river running along the rear of the hotel greeted us from our room. The only thing I wished we had known ahead of time is that if you turn the thermostat all the way down, it can freeze up when it’s humid and cause a big leak when it melts. Not a huge deal, but it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back. "
"We didn't stay at this exact hotel because there was an issue with our room, and we were transfered to another hotel from the chain. Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful in both hotels. We stayed at the Hotel Wiracocha Inn. The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable."
