"We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Tunki! We stayed in a private room and utilized the unisex shared bathroom. Our beds and linens were comfortable and there was enough space in our room to lay out our suitcases as we needed to repack. There was also housekeeping services who made the private room when we went out to explore (I didn’t know there was housekeeping service so this was a nice surprise). "We greatly appreciated the assistance Mary provided in helping us get settled and find a good restaurant. This is an older property but the bathrooms have had a simple update. There are lots of small staircases to climb. The double bed was against the wall on one side making it difficult for one person to get in out of bed. The biggest concern was there was no hot water in the shower. Because we had an early train to catch, there was not time for us to notify the hostel or change rooms."

"When I arrived with a friend I was told that we didn't have a reservation after the woman thought I was the one who booked & cancelled the room. We walked inside to resolve this issue but the place was filled with dogs and excretes. The woman couldn't find our reservation even though I clearly had the confirmation from hotels.com. she was very rude when we tried to leave to find a cleaner hostel. A guy was just staring at us with strange looks from the couch. I would not recommend staying here...
