"Amanda and Sam were both excellent hosts. They went out of there way to ensure that we had everything that we needed every day of our stay. The environment was very peaceful and beautiful with the autumn colours, and most of all the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would recommend this cabin to anybody looking to get away from the day-to-day grind. My wife and I both cannot wait for our next stay!"

"This place is heaven. Secluded yet accessible. Rustic yet so well equipped. Close to route 60 and Algonquin Park and all the Beauty it offers. The property is cosy, warm and home from home. We enjoyed our stay so much. Communication from Dale was excellent with great tips for sunset and skies watching. Strongly recommend a stay here . In winter it must be so beautiful. The otters in the river near by enjoyed being filmed. Thank you Dale"

"Enjoyed our stay here even though we arrived only just in time to enjoy the sunset on the dock. The meal in the restaurant was fabulous and the lady was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, all that we needed for a 1 night stop."

"We had an excellent 3-night stay at this cottage! The location is perfect for anyone planning to hike in Algonquin Park, as it’s just minutes from the park’s east entrance. The cottage is situated on a quiet street, making it a peaceful place to relax after a day of hiking.The cottage was very clean and, by far, the best-stocked cottage I’ve ever rented. The beds were comfortable, the hot water was plentiful and very hot, the heating worked well, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Everything was exactly as it should be, and I had absolutely no issues during my stay.A special mention to Stephanie, the owner, and the caretaker, who both responded to messages within minutes. Their prompt communication was much appreciated.I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area, especially hikers exploring Algonquin Park!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Barry's Bay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the property was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway.The cottage was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was especially well-equipped for families with children, with plenty of amenities that made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. Our daughter was obsessed with the zipline our entire stay! We appreciated the use of the boat and kayaks! Communication with our host was super easy. Instructions for the cottage were readily accessible and super helpful. The public beach and the fry-shack just down the road were amazing gems to discover. We also appreciated the firewood for our campfires!If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this cottage is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again, in fact, we're eagerly waiting for an opening to book next summer!"
