"There are so many things to like about the Kelly Inn. It’s at the end of the main drag through West Yellowstone, thus quiet. We were in the Grizzly building which seemed updated. The windows could actually be opened— what a treat for cool fresh outdoor air. Lighting was excellent in room & bathroom. Shower & thermostat controls were simple— easy to operate! Having a fridge & microwave was really helpful & neither made any unwanted extra noises. Personnel at the front desk were extremely accommodating.
The breakfast is a typical chain hotel breakfast. I never grasp how all such hotels can make eggs look like something other than real eggs— flying saucers, maybe? They did offer said eggs, meat & potatoes daily in addition to typical cold items. And there were a couple types of finely chopped fruit for topping yogurt or waffles; not seen that elsewhere.
The only wish for the Kelly Inn (& others) is an enlargement mirror mounted to the bathroom wall. So I guess the Kelly Inn is not perfect , but darn near!! We would never choose anywhere else in West Yellowstone after this experience:)"
"Check-in was quick and easy at the Registration center. There wasn't any staff within the bldg we had our room but that's okay since we didn't have any issues with the room. Not luxurious, but super convenient. We ate dinner and breakfast at the main dining room and the staff was super about getting us seated even though we didn't have reservations."
"The explorer cabin was in walking distance of shopping and restaurants. It was a lovely little house which gave our family privacy. The fire pit and hammock out front was nice and they provided s'mores kits to enjoy by the fire. Would definitely stay here again!"
"We booked this hotel last minute because we were planning on camping but had a member of our group get a flat and go down on a motorcycle so we needed to stay in a cleaner environment, I didn’t have high expectations because it was the cheapest cheapest available but I was really shocked how nice this hotel really was. The rooms were clean and spacious, the hotel was nicely decorated to match the theme and they have the most amazing delicious free breakfast. I’ve stayed at probably thousands of hotels at this point in my life and never have I experienced such a lovely free breakfast, they had so many delicious options that I wanted to try but couldn’t eat anymore. There are many options of where to stay in this area, butI would definitely look for this place to book again. Every single person I interacted with in the hotel was very sweet and helpful and truly seem like they just wanted you to have a good stay. "
