"Host was great, the place was neat, clean and had all the amenities you would need. There is a nice view of the lake (even if it was frozen) and a public beach/playground right next door. It has a nice walking area too. The bonus for us was the fireplace, arcade games and game table!"

"This property has great potential after some improvements can be made. What I noticed first is that I did not get responses to my messages. I was coming to town for a needed surgery and I had some questions about a late checkout. I did not get a response for weeks and almost had to cancel on the property when he finally responded. Communication is key. When we got to the property, it was snowing and close to sub zero temps and the thermostat was set to 57 degrees. We walked into an ice box that took hours to warm up. The home should be left at a comfortable temp for the clients. The 2 TVs did not work and we tried for hours and bought new batteries for the remotes. We were told to downlow and app and try to figure it out from there. Not an 'ok' response; the owners needs to get them working. The living room tv is barely holding on to the wall and needs attention quickly. The electric recliners do not all work. In my adult son's bedroom he encountered 5 large bugs, one on his arm. He killed them all and we have pictures. An exterminator is needed. This is a fun quirky property that just needs a few essential fixes and enhancements. A few throw pillows in the living room and a tissue box and some waste baskets in the bedrooms. The coffee station was top notch and the Christmas decorations in January were quaint. Just a bit more TLC and the property would be great. "

"Overall this rental suited our needs. Location right on lake was excellent. Needs an instruction manual left on site with Wi-Fi and other property info and owners expectations of renters during and upon departure. Kitchen counter needs updating and/or repair. Furnishings sparse and need cleaning. No dishwasher Owner/Host was very responsive and prompt to requests. "

"We were scammed. The house was completely empty and for sale upon our arrival. The property manager never communicated with us other than saying “the morning of your stay I will provide the key code” which he didn’t provide. This doesn’t matter, though, because there was no furniture in the house. It is two weeks after and he still hasn’t reimbursed us."

"We had a wonderful stay at this house. My siblings and their spouses got together to celebrate our Thanksgiving early. The kitchen was large enough for all of us to help prepare food. There was plenty of silverware, plates, pots, mixing bowls, and pans to prepare and enjoy our feast. Having an extra table that we could bring in to the dining area was also helpful. We did a jigsaw puzzle, played ping-pong, took lots of walks down to the lake, and even had trick-or-treaters on Halloween night. It’s a beautiful house and a beautiful neighborhood and we would definitely consider staying there again if the house is available when we want to have another get together."

The home was beautiful, spacious, and set on a stunning piece of land with wildlife — we even saw turkeys wandering through the yard! The lake across the street added such a peaceful, scenic touch, especially in the mornings.The driveway was a bit tricky to find the first time, but once we figured it out, it wasn’t an issue. The host’s response time could be a little quicker, but they always got back to us within 24 hours, and everything we needed was well taken care of.Overall, it was an amazing stay — clean, comfortable, and ideal for a group. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area or celebrating a special occasion!"
