"I don't want to tell anyone about this great cabin because I want it to always be available for me! It's a perfect getaway cabin near Carbondale, Giant City, and the wine trail. Steve was a great host. The cabin is well appointed with 2 gorgeous bathrooms. The outdoor space is maximized with a large hot tub and outdoor grill and fire pit. We loved soaking and looking at the stars. With a college student at SIUC and mile's of trails to be explored, we will definitely be back."

"A nice quiet stay in the Shawnee Forest. Host was easy to communicate with and the cabin had everything we needed for a nice get away. Close to nature or close to shopping and dinner. It was the perfect little spot "

"Great place. Very clean. Simple. I would recommend bringing your own beach towels for the hot tub as there were none. You’ll have to bring your own firewood too. If you want to eat breakfast or lunch at the Iron Wisk call ahead! Would stay here again for sure. "
