"We spent 4 nights at the chateau Bedford and have only good things to say about our stay. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, we had a minor issue in our room and maintenance was able to rectify it by the time we came back in the evening. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was by far the best we have ever experienced in a Canadian hotel! The selection was impressive and unexpected. The serving staff was friendly and efficient and their lattes were a great way to start the day. The nights were quiet with very minimal noise from hallways or the outside. (Our room was facing the front parking. Would stay again in a heartbeat next time we are in Halifax area."

"The room was very clean and nicely decorated with a great view of the lake from the balcony. However, it was located on a very busy street which made it difficult to get in and out of the parking area as well as to sleep at night due to the traffic noise."

"Wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for exploring the Wolfsville area of Nova Scotia. The room was a bit small with very little area to just sit and relax, but that’s a minor quibble. It was a great place to stay."

"Such a beautiful property! Very helpful hosts and the space was exactly as advertised. I especially love all the extra touches around the property like the mural, fireplace and bbq. There were spices and a basket of items that people may have forgotten to pack. Those extra touches really make a difference. Very comfortable and totally recommend 👌"
