"Check in/out was pleasant, staff was great and friendly. Continental breakfast was good. Really the only complaint is not enough lighting in the room, we stayed in a one double bed room & there was no front window & 2 lamps that didn't give off much light. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room which made it inconvenient."

"Growing up in Marquette, it was nice to try a newly remodeled hotel. With so many new ones popping up in the downtown area, I was happy to see it being pet friendly. Many people are traveling with their pets now and that is a nice bonus. Beautiful, wooded lot with a gorgeous view of Mother Superior. Nicely remodeled, clean interior room. Plenty of room for pet walking. T.V. was a bit hard to figure out, for some people that are not so tech savvy. US- 41 is loud, as the property is close, so I wore earplugs to help me sleep. The window A/C unit was a little loud, too. A quiet portable fan would have been helpful during the night. Overall, it was a nice place to stay while visiting family in the area."

"Our family had a great time at the lake - campfires, fishing, family time, card games, kayaking, paddle boating, and time on the pontoon. We visited the local bait shop in Gwinn as well as the grocery store, everyone we met was super friendly and helpful!Some of our crew drove up to visit Pictured Rocks and some went to the State Fair"

"Cute, clean property, and very well stocked with glasses, dishes and towels. So it doesn't just sleep 8, but also services 8 excellently! We also enjoyed the firepit. Very comfortable stay! We received our check-in instructions well before we needed them, which is very much appreciated."

"Great place if you are traveling with kids of any age. Lots of things for them to do inside, lots of space outside with a great fire pit, and no worry of bothering the neighbors as there's lots of room to the next house. It was about 10-15 minutes to downtown Marquette. The communication was great and everything was easy."
