The lounge is large and along with the kitchen and dining area makes up this open plan living space creating a sociable environment where the chef of the party can still participate in the conversation as you all recall the events of the day whilst preparing even the largest of family meals. The living room is also home to the 2nd bed in the form of a pull-down bed (Murphy) which benefits from a full size, proper mattress. The bedroom has twin beds which can “zip and link” to form a double bed if preferred. The bathroom has a bath with over bath shower facilities. Finally, the apartment is finished off with a balcony which opens to impressive views over river Leven.
This property is ideally located within a 5 minutes’ drive to the bottom of the impressive Lake Windermere but don’t overlook the attractions which are literally on site, these include the Lakeland Motor Museum which houses a collection of classic cars, motorcycles, bicycles, pedal cars and motoring related items and memorabilia and an exhibition dedicated to the land and water speed record activities of Sir Malcolm Campbell and his son Donald.

Alternatively, you may prefer the mental challenge offered at Cliffhanger escape rooms. There is such a diversity of activities available within 15-20 minutes’ drive, ranging from a steam train journey, to the cross-Lake ferry or the simple pleasures of the stunning scenery of the Lake District. For those of a more adventurous spirit there are numerous water activities, Laser tag or Segway rides, when you add into the mix the vast choice of places to eat and drink, including Michelin starred restaurants, it is Yes to say that there is something for everyone. The Lake District boasts some of the most spectacular lakes and scenery in the world and is host to numerous beautiful towns and villages, it is also steeped in history and has plenty of stories to tell having been the home to writers of quality, such as Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth, who were inspired by this amazing countryside and used it as a backdrop for some of their creations.
